Roadzwork – we do the roadworks so you don’t have to!
We all love to hate roadworks.
Most of the time, the first you know about them is when you are queuing and are late for work, taking the children to school or going to miss the kick-off.
If only you had known about them before!
When you travel on long journeys you check the travel websites, set the sat-nav, or rely on the radio traffic news to see where to avoid.
But, on your local, regular journeys - which are quite often time critical - you just get in the car and go!
Then you get stuck!
“Oh no, I’m going to be late for work/school run/to see granny… (delete as appropriate) again!!”
We have developed roadzwork to help keep you moving. By entering your regular, local routes into the app, and the days and times you usually travel, the app will let you know of any roadworks, emergency works or public events which are on, or close to, your route - before you travel.
The app identifies the expected severity of the possible delay to your journey and lets you view its location, providing you with the opportunity to travel on an alternative route.
Been notified of a possible delay? You can then help others by sharing the information directly from the app.
Going away? School holidays? or, Fancy a break? Dont worry; you can deactivate your route to stop notifications. When you are back, or want to travel that route again, simply switch your route back on.
Create as many routes as you like, and edit them whenever necessary.
In Settings you can select to receive information on all expected levels of severity or request that only information on the highest severity levels is provided.
